Want a sneak peak at the Relief Society Birthday Dinner Menu??
This dressing came from a lady named Cecelia F. Ludwig who used to cook for German Royalty. She had a restaurant in Leeds where she served what ever she was cooking that night and it was always wonderful.
French Dressing
½ cup lemon juice
½ cup orange juice
½ cup cider vinegar
2 cups Wesson oil
½ teaspoon worchestershire sauce
½ teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion salt
½ teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup powdered sugar
Mix and shake well. Let stand for a day before using. She used to serve it with a pomegranate and apple salad with lettuce. You can put this on lettuce and fruit salads. The nice thing about it is how your apples stay white because of the orange and lemon juice. I used to dread making it because I hated to juice the lemons and oranges and now I just buy fresh squeezed. I also use tangerine and that’s amazing.
